Goals for next year: Michael- To win the World Series & do well in 3rd grade. Jessica- To improve my soccer skills, get stronger, and have a successful 6th grade year.
Athletic Achievement: Michael- When I scored my first touchdown in flag football.
How you got started with CATZ: Michael- I heard about it from my Diablos baseball coaches.
Jessica- I was introduced to CATZ when my Lonestar Soccer team began doing CATZ training.
Getting to know Michael & Jessica:
Any pre-game or pre-practice rituals or routines? Superstitions?
Michael- Before every game I throw some balls, stretch, then chant and cheer.
Jessica- I try to eat well before every game, then I always warm up with my team.
Most memorable Sports moment.
Michael - When my Diablos Baseball Team (7u) came in second at the World Series.
Jessica - When my ‘96 Bronze team came in second place at State.
Specific academic goals or career choices in mind?
Michael-To get all A’s in every subject and become a Major League Baseball player.
Jessica- I want to study hard and give 100%.
Who is the most influential person/people in your life?
Michael- I had pnuemonia this spring and because of it I had to miss some practices and had to miss one tournament. But I fought to get better and I supported my team by watching them play.
Jessica- Sometimes you have problems & you just have to work hard to overcome them. Never give up!
