Getting to know Reed:

Any pre-game or pre-practice rituals or routines? Superstitions?
For karate I sit down and think about what I'm going to do that day to prepare for the class.

Most memorable martial arts moment.
This year I competed in my first karate tournament ever and there was a group of 24 kids in my division. I was really nervous, and I didn't place in the top 4, but I thought I did really well and was really proud of myself.

What college do you hope to attend?
Boston College or Boston University.

Specific academic goals or career choices in mind?
I might want to be an archaeologist or a baseball player.

Who is the most influential person/people in your life?
When I went to camp I was really scared to try to waterski. When I tried I fell at first, but then I got used to it & went all the way around the lake on my second day. I learned that even if I'm really scared of something I should have courage and try it.
