How you got started with CATZ: I heard about it through Mass Elite when CATZ first came to town. I had heard that CATZ was like some other training programs, but after I started the CATZ program I noticed how much more specific to lacrosse it was. I was interested in working out between soccer and basketball season to get in shape for lacrosse, so I joined CATZ.

Getting to know Meredith:

Any pre-game or pre-practice rituals or routines? Superstitions?
I always have to blow dry my hair straight on the day of a game.

Most memorable Lacrosse moment.
Winning the high school lacrosse state championship in 2003; we were losing at half time 6-2 and came back and won it in the last thirty seconds of the game. Our senior captain took a shot and it went bottom left hand corner. We won 9-8.

What college do you hope to attend?
Next year I’m going to Northwestern; I’m excited about the school and to live in Evanston, a small college town and a good community.

Specific academic goals or career choices in mind?
Business; Maybe marketing. I want to do something creative and have opportunities to travel.

Who is the most influential person/people in your life?
My junior year, during soccer season, I tore a ligament in my left knee. I had to rehabilitate it and was out of basketball for a month. I had never had an injury like that before and was shaken up. The way I overcame it was I helped our lacrosse team win the state championship in lacrosse later that year!
