Douglas Yee

Douglas Yee has been working in the sports performance training and fitness industry for more than 18 years. He has designed training programs for professional, Olympic, amateur, collegiate and youth athletes. He has been conditioning consultant and coach to World Champion Savate (French kickboxing) athletes Nicole Sedmak, Michael Giordani, and Joann Wabisca, and world ranked Tae Kwon Do athlete Allen Jo. Most recently Douglas over saw the strength and conditioning for the 2008 Beijing gold medal US men's Olympic team. In the entertainment arena, Douglas has been the fitness trainer for the likes of Janet Jackson, Cher, Ray Liotta, Priscilla Presley, Vincent D’Nofrio, Rachel Hunter, Alicia Silverstone, John Cusak, Linda Hamilton, Val Kilmer, Jody Messina, supermodels Haley Mortisson and Kelli Van Halen and many other notables, preparing them to be physically and aesthetically ready for film roles, covershots and concert tours.

Douglas has been written about, contributed to, and quoted in such publications as Vogue, People, Men’s Fitness, Volleyball Magazine and Competitor Magazines. In addition, Douglas has consulted on exercise and fitness videos and has also been consultant to summer youth sports camps.

Douglas earned his B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science with a Sports Medicine concentration from Colorado State University. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. He has worked as the fitness director for two health clubs and also worked as an athletic trainer at Rio Hondo College.

Anya Tronson

Performance coach | Coach | C.S.C.S.

Anya has been involved with CATZ since the Summer of 2002 – first as an athlete and now as a coach. As a college athlete looking for an edge, she came to CATZ to improve her strength, agility and speed. As a coach she is a staff member of the original CATZ in Pasadena before joining the newest CATZ in Anaheim California. Anya's list of clients include Misty May Treanor, beach volleyball Gold medalist for the Beijing Olympics, top AVP players April Ross, and Jen Boss.

Anya is originally from Cashmere, Washington. She came to Southern California to attend Biola University and to participate at the collegiate level in Soccer and Track and Field. She has competed at the national level in both sports. As captain of the Women’s Soccer team she led the team to their first National NAIA Soccer Tournament appearance in 2004, as a center back. Also, during her collegiate career she competed at the National NAIA Track and Field meet in the Javelin, taking 15th in the Nation, in 2004.

Anya holds a B.S. in Physical Education, and a Teaching Credential from Biola University. She will be working toward a Masters degree in the fall of 2006, in Sport performance enhancement and Sports Psychology. She is an adjunct professor at Biola University teaching Women’s Weight Lifting.

Along with teaching at Biola she is an assistant coach for the women’s soccer team where she manages team fitness and recruiting. In Anya’s, spare time she loves to snow ski(she holds a PSIA Level II certification as a ski instructor), trains for triathlons, and plays soccer for the Southern California Seahorses.
