Tyler Aiken

Performance Director | Coach | M.S., C.S.C.S. taiken@catzsports.com

Tyler is the Performance Director of CATZ-Hingham. Tyler began his coaching career at a private training facility in Fairfield County Connecticut. Upon moving to Boston, he became a Performance Coach for CATZ and has spent the last four years working at our Needham training center

Tyler received his B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Connecticut, where he was named a New England Scholar, and his Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Boston University.

Tyler has extensive experience in the fields of both exercise science and nutrition. He recently completed a Dietetic Internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, with an emphasis on medical nutrition therapy. While at Beth Israel, he assisted in the development of an exercise and nutrition curriculum for the BEAM Clinic at Tufts Medical Center. He served as the Youth Program Director for the Healthy Kids and Families Program with Lifestyle Management Associates. Tyler has also worked with athletes at the professional, collegiate and youth level.

John Milligan

John comes to CATZ having many years of coaching and teaching experience with athletes and kids of all ages. John began a career in college football coaching after playing and graduating from the University of Michigan. John, a Detroit native, was a four-year letter winner for the Wolverines and was voted team captain by his teammates for his senior year in 1990. While at Michigan, John played on four Big Ten Championship teams and in three Rose Bowls. After graduating with a degree in Psychology, John stayed with the Michigan program as graduate assistant coach for three years. As a graduate assistant coach, John ran the offensive scout team who’s QB was a young freshman by the name of Tom Brady. John later went on to coach at West Point and Central Michigan holding the position of Defensive Coordinator.

In 2005, John decided to leave college coaching and pursue a Masters Degree in teaching. John taught history and senior psychology at Newton South High school in 2006 and 2007. While at Newton South, John also helped coach the football team and oversaw the after-school strength and conditioning program. John spent his summers as the sports director at the Nobles Day Camp.

During the winter of 2008 John began training his Newton South athletes at CATZ; he instantly saw CATZ training as “the way” athletes of all ages need to train. CATZ’s upbeat, inspirational, and rigorous training environment fit John’s personality and ideals. He believed in it so much he decided to join the CATZ team in April 2008 as a performance coach and general manager. John continues to be active in coaching team sports in the area. John coaches varsity football the Nobles School and coaches in the Needham Youth Basketball League.

Meredith Stewart

Performance Coach, Director of Programing | Coach | MS, CSCS mstewart@catzsports.com

Meredith Stewart has extensive experience training athletes at the professional, elite, & youth level. After a stellar soccer career at Holliston High School, where she was named the Boston Globe Div. II Player of the Year and to the ODP Regional Team, Meredith received her AB in Biology from Harvard University. At Harvard, she played on the Women's Soccer team which won two Ivy League titles and advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.

Following graduation, Meredith worked at several private strength and conditioning facilities and also was an intern at Boston College and Boston University.

Along with her coaching responsibilities at CATZ, Meredith continues to be actively involved in coaching soccer. She presently serves as an Assistant Coach for the Northeastern University Women's Soccer Team.

Meredith earned a Master of Science degree in Applied Anatomy and Physiology from Boston University. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (National Strength and Conditioning Association).
