Mark Cinelli

Performance Director | Coach | MS, CSCS, LATC mcinelli@catzsports.com

Mark is the Performance Director of CATZ-Needham facility. Mark began his career with the Springfield Falcons of the AHL. In this position, Mark was responsible for all strength and conditioning as well as athletic training activities for this professional hockey club. Following his stint with the Falcons, Mark was hired by the Pittsburgh Pirates organization to work as the head strength coach for one of their minor league teams. He subsequently accepted a position as Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the San Diego Padres. In this role, Mark managed with stength and conditioning program for all six minor teams within the Padres organization.

Mark has extensive experience working with athletes at the professional and collegiate level. He has coached athletes in Major League Baseball, NBA, NHL, Major League Lacrosse, and the US Women's Pro Tennis Tour.

Mark received his BS in Sports Fitness from Salem State and his MS in Sports Medicine Injury Prevention from Springfield College. He is a Licensed Athletic Trainer and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Meredith Stewart

Meredith Stewart has extensive experience training athletes at the professional, elite, & youth level. After a stellar soccer career at Holliston High School, where she was named the Boston Globe Div. II Player of the Year and to the ODP Regional Team, Meredith received her AB in Biology from Harvard University. At Harvard, she played on the Women's Soccer team which won two Ivy League titles and advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.

Following graduation, Meredith worked at several private strength and conditioning facilities and also was an intern at Boston College and Boston University.

Along with her coaching responsibilities at CATZ, Meredith continues to be actively involved in coaching soccer. She presently serves as an Assistant Coach for the Northeastern University Women's Soccer Team.

Meredith earned a Master of Science degree in Applied Anatomy and Physiology from Boston University. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (National Strength and Conditioning Association).

John Maryanski

John comes to CATZ from the Texas Rangers Professional Baseball Organization as a minor league strength and conditioning coach. While with the Rangers he worked with the Double A affiliate Frisco RoughRiders in Texas as well as the Advanced-A affiliate Bakersfield Blaze in California.

Maryanski, originally from New Hampshire, attended Nashua High School where he won a state championship in baseball. After high school, John earned his BS in Health Science/Promotion and Fitness at Keene State College. While at KSC, he was a four-year member and co-captain of the baseball team. In 2005, he was awarded the National Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year award.

Maryanski first started working with professional athletes during an internship at Athlete\'s Performance in Tempe, AZ. He is a professional member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
