Brian Lee

B Lee has been involved in the sports performance and rehabilitation industry for 8 years. After graduating from University of California, Davis with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, B Lee obtained his Master's of Science degree in Sports Health Care from A.T. Still University in Mesa. He has been involved in Athletic Training and sports performance enhancement at the youth, college and professional level. Prior to becoming Director of Performance for CATZ, B Lee spent 4 years as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Arizona Rattlers Arena Football team, and 2 years as Director of AthletesXcel Sports Performance training at Spooner Physical Therapy. He also has experience working with professional soccer athletes as the Head Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning coach for the Arizona Thunder (1998-2000) and the Arizona Heatwave (2001-2005).
Clinically, B Lee served as an Athletic Trainer for STI Physical Therapy in Phoenix (2000-2004) and educationally, served as Clinical Instructor for Grand Canyon University –Athletic Training Education Program (2001-2006).
B Lee is a Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Greg Vanney
Greg Vanney, raised in Tempe, AZ, joins the CATZ staff with an outstanding playing career in professional soccer. In 1996, Greg was drafted by the Los Angeles Galaxy (1996-2002) in the inaugural Major League Soccer (MLS) College Draft. Throughout his career, Greg has helped lead his professional team to three MLS Cup appearances, the US Open Cup Championship & a CONCACAF Champions Cup Championship. He was also selected twice to the MLS Best XI before transferring to the French 1st Division Club, S.C. Bastia.
Greg returned to the MLS’s F.C. Dallas team after competing for S.C. Bastia for four seasons in France. He helped F.C. Dallas improve to its best record in a decade, including an appearance in the U.S. Open Cup Final. As a member of F.C. Dallas, Greg captained the MLS All-Star Team to a 4-1 victory over Premier League side Fulham. Currently, Greg plays with 4 time MLS Cup Champion D.C. United.
Greg was also a part of the US National Team Program for over 11 years. Greg has appeared for the National Team 37 times (CAPS) and was unfortunate to miss out on the 2002 World Cup due to a knee injury in the World Cup preparation match versus Jamaica only 5 days before the team was departing to Korea. Later in his career, Greg help the US team to the 2005 Gold Cup Championship.
Greg has been involved in Arizona sports throughout his career. Greg is the founder of the Arizona Futbol Club (AZFC) in Tempe, Arizona. And, in 1999, he was voted to the Arizona Republic -- 100 Best Athletes of the Century. A graduate of Marcos de Niza High School in Tempe, Greg spent one year at Florida International University before transferring to UCLA.
