CATZ-Trained Athletes Shine at Manhattan Beach Open

April Ross and Jen Boss had the tournament of the year by beating the number one seeded team of Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh in the quarter finals. Next they knocked of the number two seeded team of Nicole Branagh and Elaine Youngs. It was sweet revenge after being edged out of a trip to Beijing earlier in the year by Branagh and Youngs. In the end, the tournament ended as most did this year, with Walsh and May-Treanor on top. The CATZ-trained team of Whitney Pavlik and Stacy Rowenhorst also finished strong in 9th place overall. May-Treanor, Boos, Ross, Pavlik and Rowenhorst all train at the CATZ performance center in Anaheim alongside the Beijing gold medal Men's Volleyball Team.
