CATZ partners with Bay State Games
Beginning in February, CATZ will train Bay State Games athletes in small groups to enhance sport-specific speed, strength, power, agility, and endurance.
“The Bay State Games have always tried to provide participants with added benefits that will allow them to reach their athletic goals,” said Bay State Games Executive Director Kevin Cummings. “The CATZ Program is a tremendous resource and is something we are happy to make more readily available to our athletes.”
Training for individual athletes and/or teams will run from February 15 through August 1, 2005 at all 4 Greater Boston area CATZ locations. Athletes are welcome to begin training on any day during this 6-month preparation period. Bay State Summer Games registrants will receive a discount on all training packages and will receive a higher discount if they join before May 1. The 2005 Bay State Summer Games will be held July 14-17 in the Boston area and July 18-24 in Central Massachusetts.
CATZ Performance Director Kevin Brochu says, “If an athlete commits to preparing for the Games with CATZ 6 to 8 weeks before competition, they will see a dramatic increase in their level of performance . . . We guarantee it.” CATZ coaches design age appropriate and sport-specific programs which also emphasize teamwork, leadership, and life fitness skills.
Registration for the CATZ program is now open with weekday and weekend sessions available from 7am-8pm. Facilities are located in Woburn, Canton, Acton, and Norfolk.
