Alamo qualifies two more teams to the JOVC!

Alamo 16 Kaepa and Alamo 18 Kaepa join Alamo 17 Kaepa as qualified teams for the 2008 USA Junior Olympic Volleyball Championships.

Alamo 16 Kaepa swept through the field of 141 teams in the 16 club division winning 11 straight matches. Their championship match was a (17-25, 25-20, 15-13) victory over Southwest 16 Asics. This result qualifies Alamo 16 Kaepa to a bid into the 16 National Division.

Alamo 18 Kaepa worked just as hard this weekend in the 18 club division of 108 teams finishing with a 9-1 match record. Their only loss was in the championship match to South Shore 18 Mizuno, (25-19, 11-25, 7-15). This result qualifies Alamo 18 Kaepa to a bid into the 18 American Division.

Alamo 17 Kaepa earned their bid into the 17 American Division with a 2nd place finish at the North East Qualifier in Baltimore MD. They won 9 straight matches in the field of 78 teams and had their first and only loss in the championship match vs. TAV 17 Molten (12-25, 25-19, 11-15).
