CATZ is training the Pro Football team Austin Wranglers

A-Train Sports, owner of the CATZ Franchise in Austin, is pleased to announce that the Austin Wranglers of the Arena Football League have named CATZ as the Official Strength and Conditioning Program to the team. CATZ will provide pre-season and in-season strength and conditioning programs to the Wranglers.

“We are pleased the Wranglers have formed this partnership with CATZ,” says A-Train Sports CEO Dirk Buikema. “We look forward to working with the Wranglers to improve their speed, strength and agility while also reducing the risk of injury.”

“The Wranglers chose CATZ because they are providing our team with cutting-edge training techniques that will give us a competitive advantage as we enter our third season,” says Wranglers General Manager Glyn Milburn. “With Arena Football, most players play both offense and defense and the game is so quick and tight. CATZ provides customized training to ensure our players have optimal endurance, speed and agility for success on the field.”

As part of the partnership, CATZ will provide both pre-season and in-season programs for the team, as well as regular pre-game and pre-practice warm-ups. CATZ-Austin Performance Director Bill Meyer will work directly with the Wranglers coaching staff to design and implement a training program customized to the needs of Arena Football players.

Austin Wranglers kick off their third season on Friday, January 27 when they take on the Las Vegas Gladiators. The Wranglers will face Southern Division opponents Georgia Force, Kansas City Brigade, Orlando Predators, Tampa Bay Storm in their bid for ArenaBowl XX, which will be held June 11 in Las Vegas.
